That time is back where you're starting to think about your new years resolutions, which (let's be honest) half the time you won't keep. But hey, there's no harm having a go! My new years resolution is to be more versatile with my hairstyles. Quite often I don't have time to do anything interesting with my hair so I just leave it down naturally, but I want to get into the habit of styling it differently more often. Even if this means getting up a little earlier before work. I'm thinking a cute top bun one day, a side plait the next, and so on.
It's not just us making resolutions, celebrities like Scarlett Johansson is hoping to enjoy life as a newlywed with her new husband, Ryan Reynolds (lucky girl!) and Brad Pitt wants to redouble his efforts to support charitable organisations around the world! Now there's something that us non-celebrities can relate to!
When it comes to fashion related resolutions, I think the main one that younger people need to work on (particularly if you're still at school), is stop worrying about what people think! And I am so serious when I say this. I spent half my teenage years not wearing what I really wanted, simply because I was scared of what people, or even my friends, would say. I think it's so important to be yourself so I want all of you girls to focus on this in the new year, if you feel this is something you should work on! I promise you'll feel better for it. So, for you fashionistas who like something a little different and diverse in your style, I've created this collage below for inspiration!
Another cool resolution idea is to try a new "beauty dare" once a month. It's always liberating to try something new every now and again, whether it means wearing a bold colour lipstick, or a new nail colour. It will help revive your look and unleash a whole new you.
I'd love to hear what your resolution/s are for next year - drop a comment below and let me know!
