Outfit of the day!

Hey guys! I am so sorry I haven't blogged in a couple of weeks, I've been working for Bristol Fashion Week so haven't had any time to myself! I will post all about it tomorrow along with photos but for now, here is my outfit today. I've had my hair cut so it's a lot shorter! I hadn't had it cut in months so they had to take a few inches off.. eeek! But I'm actually loving it and decided to curl it today :) I bought this gorge new cardigan from River Island two days ago, I was one of the first to know about their new sale launch so was straight in there! The sale price was £20, but there was a hole in the pocket so managed to grab it for £10 which is amazing!!!!! Couldn't believe my luck! Kept the make-up natural today as it was all about the curly locks and was feeling a little loungey (if that's a word?!) Hope you likee! xo

The Bristol Vintage Fair

Yesterday I attended The Vintage Fair in Bristol with my lovely friend, Louisa. I'd been looking forward to it for so long! After attending the last one in October, and finding lots of vintage bargains, I simply had to go again. However, as great as it was, I didn't buy anything apart from a really cool ring which I shall post later on. I did come across some amazing black studded creepers which I REALLY wanted but they were one size too big! I was so gutted! I took some really cool photos which I have edited on so be sure to take a look and let me know what you think! There will be some more photos to come as my friend took some too, on her amazing SLR camera that is way better than my 5 year old Panasonic digital thing. Photos below include genuine vintage items that were a massive interest to me, mannequin inspiration, and one particular lovely quote. Enjoy!

Louisa also has a blog! It is dedicated to bargain hunting and second-hand style. So if you love vintage, you'll love her blog. Check it out on the link below. Follow her and share her some lovely comments!

NEW VIDEO: February Favourites 2013

Here is my latest YouTube video. I've done a February Favourites - sorry it's a few days late! I have posted this in the video but I am really sorry about the bad audio quality, I'm not sure what is wrong with my camera but it's quite old now so you might have to turn up the volume when listening! Links t items mentioned are below..

1. Topshop dress here

2. The Body Shop Vitamin C Energising Face Spritz here

3. Monochrome Primark heels (Primark don't advertise but you can check them out here)

4. Topshop black peplum top (old stock)

5. Models Own Tweezers here

6. Prada Candy Eau De Parfum here

I really enjoy doing videos but I just find them ultra scary so I tend to concentrate on my blogging more. So it's always great to receive positive feedback from my videos though, for a little confidence boost! Let me know what you think! :)

7 Gym Bag Beauties!

These are my top 7 gym bag must-haves. You'll leave the gym not only feeling good about yourself, but you'll also be fresh, glowing and smelling great!

1. Pantene 2-1 Smooth and Sleek 500ml £4.69
A shampoo and conditioner in one bottle, fights roughness and controls frizz to leave your hair beautifully silky smooth! Pantene is one of my favourite brands for shampoo and conditioner, I just always love feeling my soft hair the next day!

2. Body Shop Satsuma Shower Gel/Cream £2.00
This soap-free shower gel contains zesty satsuma essential oil and has a refreshing citrus scent - just what you need for after the gym!

3. Soap & Glory Smoothie Star Body Lotion 500ml £10
Deep moisture body milk with soothing, smoothing and conditioning almond, cocoa butter, yoghurt, oat and honey. This body lotion will leave your skin feeling ultra soft!

4. Right Guard Women Xtreme Dry Ultra Cool Deodorant Spray 150ml £1.99
A maximum strength deodorant that gives 72 hour protection and is still kind to skin. Although "Right Guard" doesn't sound like the most glamorous deodorant, I never have any problems with it. I've never had it turning into white powder, so I always stick to Right Guard.

5. Max Factor Mastertouch Concealer £7.99
A miracle product to give you the expert touch of a professional make-up artist. When you get out the gym, all you need to do is apply a little touch-up concealer to hide any spots and blemishes, and you're good to go! With the Mastertouch Concealer applying technique, this is quick and easy to use.

6. No7 Intense Volume Waterproof Mascara £9.00
This is a volumising mascara perfect for creating thicker looking lashes. Using a waterproof mascara is definitely a good idea after the gym, as your face is probably still producing moisture. Just a few slicks of this mascara and you'll be looking fresh!

7. Balmi SPF 15 Raspberry Lip Balm 10g £4.99
This deliciously tasting raspberry lip balm has been designed to provide moisturisation for your lips and provide protection from harmful UVA rays, making it a great product to use in the Summer too.

I had two interviews yesterday.. both of which went really well!

One was for an internship with Motel Rocks which I got!! I literally cannot wait, I just have to give them the dates I can intern! This will involve writing for their blog, updating their social sites and hopefully helping out at photo shoots. My other interview was for a Supervisor at Monsoon, which went pretty well too. I shall be finding out this weekend/early next week! Fingers crossed! It's also been confirmed that I'll be working for Bristol Fashion Week again for the Spring/Summer show! Yay!
