Review: Rodial Date Night Beauty

The lovely Rodial team sent me a selection of gorgeous products to try out for their #RodialDateNight campaign and wow, was I impressed! I believe for a first date, your look should be natural but glowing, so a man can see you for who you are, without hiding behind harsh bold colours. So for my date night look, I've gone for natural blushed cheeks, shimmer highlights and plump shiny lips. I've also curled my hair as it justs adds a bit more fun and girliness to your look, which I've kept in place with the Richard Ward Anti-Ageing Argan Hairspray. Have a read of my reviews below to help you achieve the #RodialDateNight look!

London Fashion Week Retreat

The lovely people of Freedom PR organised a London Fashion Week Retreat event that took place at the Red Bull Studios in London, and they invited me! It was such a lovely treat and so great to chat and meet with lots of new people in the industry. Even better for a relaxing day of treatments before the craziness of London Fashion Week, even though I am super excited. The image above shows me having my CND Vinylux manicure in 'Wild Moss' which is still going strong a week later! You can buy the polish here. I'd highly recommend. It's healthy for your nails (as opposed to shellac) and lasts all week and longer!

Whilst at the retreat, I also had my hair styled into gorgeous bouncy curls by the lovely Wella team. How amazing does it look?! Wella have salons all over the world, so I'm sure you can find one near to you wherever you are! I was also very impressed with the Nioxin Scalp Renew treatment which made me feel super clean and fresh afterwards!

I also managed to squeeze in a relaxing massage by Spa & Massage before I went which was fabulous! They're based in London but do provide gift vouchers so if you're not here in the capital, why not pop in for a relaxing treatment on a special occasion?! Follow them on Twitter here :)

Review: ICEBAR LONDON

ICEBAR LONDON - one of the coolest bars in London (literally!). When I heard about the idea of drinking delicious cocktails in a room made of ice, I was understandably intrigued and couldn't wait to try it out. Arriving at the venue, a delightful cheery man greeted me at the door, handing me a designer thermal cape with a hood and gloves. I felt a little bit silly in this extremely tent like cape, but soon understood its purpose when I walked into the -5°C climate.

The walls, bar, tables, and even the glasses are all made of the purest ice - harvested especially from the frozen Torne River in Jukkasjรคrvi, Northern Sweden. Once a year the entire bar is completely transformed with a new design theme, and I was lucky enough to experience the FROZEN FOOD design. From giant ice cupcakes, to American Diner iconography and a fabulous pop-up food truck cocktail bar! My 40 minute time slot ended and I just didn't want to leave! It was an experience that'll probably stay with me forever!

If you're in London, click here to book your time slot now! The ICEBAR LONDON is an outstanding experience that you just can't miss!

Review: Origins KissZing Lip Crayon

Origins KissZing Lip Crayon*
From left to right; Pink Charming, Peach Peck, Coral Crush, Rosemance, Peonies In a Pod, Begonia Blush
---------------------------------------------------------------
I haven't personally tried Origins products before but when I heard about the KissZing lip crayon, I got a little bit excited. I am obsessed with a coloured lip (never leave home without it!) and I think these six shades that the crayon is available in are gorgeous!

The KissZing lip crayon delivers a sheer kiss of colour to lips with a soft, sheer finish. The big, bold crayon is formulated with a blend of natural butters and oils to nourish lips. With a subtle hint of refreshing mint and vanilla, the barely-there texture provides a tint of colour "so you can have more fun KissZing!"

I was very lucky and grateful to receive the Rosemance shade, and instantly after application I could feel the soft nourishment soothing my lips! The boldness of the crayon makes it a quick and easy application, perfect for when I'm in a rush (which is most of the time)! The subtle colour makes it perfect for every-day wear, as in the evening I like something a little brighter! Overall I am very happy with the product and would definitely recommend it!

5 Valentine's Gifts To Benefit You Both

My Valentine's gift guide includes five items that both of you can use and appreciate together, which is what Valentine's is all about. Unfortunately I am single so won't be giving or (doubtfully) receiving any gifts, (in fact, I'll be spending the day watching 50 Shades of Grey.. who else is excited about that?!).. but anyway, I truly believe Valentine's Day is a lovely time for couples to show how much they love each other, and I think these gifts do just that!
