ICEBAR LONDON - one of the coolest bars in London (literally!). When I heard about the idea of drinking delicious cocktails in a room made of ice, I was understandably intrigued and couldn't wait to try it out. Arriving at the venue, a delightful cheery man greeted me at the door, handing me a designer thermal cape with a hood and gloves. I felt a little bit silly in this extremely tent like cape, but soon understood its purpose when I walked into the -5°C climate.

The walls, bar, tables, and even the glasses are all made of the purest ice - harvested especially from the frozen Torne River in Jukkasjรคrvi, Northern Sweden. Once a year the entire bar is completely transformed with a new design theme, and I was lucky enough to experience the FROZEN FOOD design. From giant ice cupcakes, to American Diner iconography and a fabulous pop-up food truck cocktail bar! My 40 minute time slot ended and I just didn't want to leave! It was an experience that'll probably stay with me forever!
