Jewellery by Rara de Barr

Feast your eyes upon the new, upcoming jewellery and accessories brand that is Rara de Barr. The brand was set up in February 2014 by two sisters, whose aim is to make their customers feel and look fabulous. And as the jewels dazzled from my ears and wrist, I can honestly say I did feel just this. I was over the moon when I received these gorgeous earrings and pretty bracelet in the post wrapped in their signature lime green tissue paper. I thought they in fact looked so much nicer in real life than on the website! The prices are totally reasonable so if you're looking for stylish glamorous jewellery that isn't going to break the bank, then I might have just found you your new best friend! Overall I'm rather thrilled with my Rara de Barr pieces and would happily recommend to any girl out there who likes to dress up on a budget!

Spring Wardrobe Essentials

Reiss CoatOliver Bonas DressCOS shirtJaeger TrousersElliot Rhodes BeltRussell & Bromley Loafers
As March arrived and the sun started to shine in London, I got a little bit excited. I realised that we're almost in Spring - when the pretty flowers grow and the cooler clothes come back out of the wardrobe. Goodbye to wooly scarves and hello to silk ones! Goodbye to tight fitted trousers and hello to cropped loose styles!

The Spring Coat
A trench coat is the perfect addition to your Spring wardrobe, as they're not too cosy but will still keep you warm in the wind. Cream is my favourite colour when it comes to a trench - you can wear it with everything, and it's so classic and classy. I love this one from Reiss with its tie waist belt and oversized collar. See how I wore mine here

The Striped Dress
Stripes are the pattern for Spring this year - if you don't have stripes in your wardrobe then you really need to get some. I love this cute dress from Oliver Bonas - it's floaty, feminine and perfect for day and night.

The Baggy Shirt
I love to dress up something as simple as a shirt by adding a necklace and a clutch. A baggy shirt is comfy and perfect for achieving the casual chic look. I love the sharpness of this one from COS.

The Loose Trousers
As the weather get's a little warmer, it's time to bring out the cropped/loose trousers. I love neutral tones as they're more versatile, and you can safely rely on Jaeger for quality wardrobe staples.

The Ultimate Accessory
Belts are a great accessory but people tend to forget about them. I love to wear one over a dress or with my jeans to add a splash of colour. Elliot Rhodes is the perfect place for quality, luxury belts. They have a fab interchangeable system where you can choose a strap and buckle separately to design a belt to suit your personal style. They have all the classic styles, but also lots of bright ones, pastels, metallics.. you name it!

The White Flats
You can't go wrong with a pair of loafers, and these white ones from Russell & Bromley are perfect for Spring/Summer. You can wear them with your lovely summer colour palette and are super comfy for those sunny days out!

I hope you like my Spring wardrobe essentials. Let me know what yours are!

Facial From Home

From left to right: Burt's Bees Deep Pore Scrub, Rodial Glamtox Cleansing Balm, Eve Lom Rescue Mask, Burt's Bees Radiance Serum
We all love a good facial, but having one professionally can be super pricey. So I've brought together a few key products from some of my favourite luxury brands that will last a long time and save you money in the long run.

Step One
Burt's Bees Peach & Willowbark Deep Pore Scrub, £10.99, available here
The first step has always got be a good facial scrub to remove any excess oil, dirt and dead skin cells. This product is a natural sulfate-free facial cleanser with finely ground peach stone that naturally and gently exfoliates. With its willowbark and peach extracts, the product smells amazing! There's nothing worse than a facial product that either smells horrible or doesn't smell of anything. The deep pore scrub will help to revitalise your skin and replenish essential minerals, leaving your face deeply clean and naturally nourished.

Step Two
Rodial Glamtox Cleansing Balm, £50, available here
Now it's time to restore the moisture & calm any sensitive or irritated skin from cosmetics you might have been wearing in the day. The Rodial Glamtox Cleansing Balm gently melts away make-up and cleanses the skin. It's packed with lots of blended vitamins to help brighten your complexion and reduce the appearance of spots and pigmentation. The cleanser slides on smoothly like a balm and turns into a milky toner when rinsed with water. Remove with a damp cloth for that gorgeous glowing skin! No wonder this product has been rated 5 stars!

Step Three
Eve Lom Rescue Mask, £35, available here
This award winning product is perfectly applied after cleansing and applied to the entire face to smooth and condition the skin surface. Featuring camphor, almond and honey-infused kaolin clay, it is the perfect weekly deep clean to keep your complexion in radiant condition. The rescue mask is also great for when skin becomes stressed, blotchy or suffers from irritable breakouts, jet-lag or morning-after puffiness.

Step Four
Burt's Bees Radiance Serum, £19.99, available here
We're almost there! All you need now is just a few drops of Burt's Bees Radiance Serum applied over the face and neck to bring out your skin's natural radiance. The product combines royal jelly, licorice root extract and glycerin to increase moisturisation while nourishing skin with 134 nutrients (including lots of vitamins and minerals)! In 4 weeks, you'll notice your skin becoming more evenly toned and the result is more radiant beautiful looking skin, naturally.

So there you have it - a facial from home! It's really worth spending more on products that'll last you months, than splashing out on facials on a regular basis. Let me know your thoughts in the comments below!
