The luxury packaging drew me to this fragrance at first - fuschia pink is my favourite colour and I'm a lover of anything gold. Then I found out that this fragrance was created by a young perfumer called Alice Lavenat who entered the Young Perfumer of the Year 2014 competition. Not only does it have a stunning scent, but it has been created by someone who is passionate and has chosen this fragrance based on her life experience. It's not just a name on a bottle created by somebody anonymous. This perfume has a story!
Alice's winning creation opens on refreshing notes of rhubarb, blackcurrant, pink grapefruit and pink pepper. At its heart lies a rich bouquet of peony, subtly blended with orange blossom and Turkish rose completed by the delicate fruity notes of blackcurrant. I'm in love with the scent so much!! It's fresh, young and deliciously sweet.
Creator, Alice Lavenat:
"I grew up near Cognac, where my grandfathers were both winemakers, I was surrounded by the smell of grape juice and those of cognac spirits. These scents remain for me my first olfactory emotions and triggered my passion for the whole world of fragrance."
I would highly recommend the fragrance to anybody who enjoys a fruity, feminine scent that lasts all day! I truly love it and will be wearing it a lot this summer!
